DAPHNE4NFDI represents the Photon and Neutron (PaN) research community in the German National Research Data Infrastructure (NFDI). The community has developed and maintains the PaNET ontology, a domain ontology that systematises experimental techniques used at e.g. photon and neutron research infrastructure. The PaN community requires a sustainable approach for managing and using terminology mappings while preserving the integrity and governance of the PaNET ontology itself.
Semantic Interoperability and Terminology Mapping for PaNET-based Discovery in Photon and Neutron Science Repositories is an incubator project within the Terminology Services (TS) basic service of Base4NFDI.
